After reaching the New Orleans 4 yard line with 1:16 left to play, Indianapolis went incomplete on second down, hit for an apparent loss on third down, and relied on fourth-down heroics to even hope to have a shot at glory.
They missed on fourth down right through the hands of an Indy receiver, and the celebrations in New Orleans got a little bit louder.
New Oeleans ran out the clock on the rest of the game.
